Types of Bullying

Verbal Bullying: the bully says things to you.

Physical Bullying: kicking, pushing or anything that hurts you.

Indirect Bullying: ignoring, spreading rumours, threatening looks.

Technological Bullying: Internet Abuse, chat rooms, and abusive text messages.

Disability Bullying

Behaviour or language that makes a child or young person feel unwelcome or

marginalised because of a perceived or actual disability.

Race, Face and Culture Bullying

Bullying due to race, faith and culture is behaviour or language that makes a

child or young person feel unwelcome or marginalised because of their religion,

race, ethnicity, national origin, colour or nationality.

Homophobic Bullying

You do not have to be a lesbian, gay or bisexual (LGB) person to experience

homophobic bullying.

The effects of bullying have been said to be very serious, it has been reported

that around ten children in the UK kill themselves each year because their lives have

been made so miserable by being subjected to bullying. There are said to be many effects
