Recycling turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources. Materials like glass, metal, plastics, and paper can all be processed into new materials or products.

These materials always need to be separated to start the recycling process. This why there are 22,000 bottle bank sites in the UK and many also have aluminium can and paper banks as well.

  • Recycle glass bottles and jars, plastic bottles, metal cans, paper card and textiles at the local recycling centre
  • Recycle food and garden waste by composting it
  • Recycling saves landfill space, natural resources and energy.
