'A footprint means pressing down and global means world, so 'global footprint' means pressing down on the world and we don't want to press too hard' (child's definition of a Global Footprint)

Datalogging and the Global Dimension

Datalogging is part of the science of understanding how our world is changing, in terms of climate and environments. It also helps us to understand the processes of science, use of data, experimentation, predictions, hypothesis. It leads onto the understanding of control systems and how these can contribute to sustainability. It helps us to understand ourselves with the idea that the best datalogging and control systems are in our bodies, they are the systems that ensure our lives are sustainable.
