RAINFORESTS
Georgia , Golspie Primary , P7

Tall green leaves,
Reaching high.
A chainsaw buzzes-
They slowly die.

Topple, topple,
Clutter, crash,
Parrots squawk
And monkeys dash.

Like dominoes
Are these gentle giants.
First one falls-
And then its clients.

What used to be the jungle floor
Is lying still
And now no more.
