As one of Construction worker, Bangladeshthe richest countries in the world, the USA has huge debts to the United Nations. It owes in excess of $2 billion and although this money is needed to pay for international peacekeeping and humanitarian programmes, the US Congress has consistently refused to pay all it owes.

At the same time, through its 'control' of the World Bank and IMF, the USA continually seeks to ensure that countries in the South pay their debts as soon as possible.

How do you think it's possible to justify this position?
