Welcome to Global Footprints, the website of HEC Global Learning Centre in London. The challenges facing the world involve all of us wherever we live. In our increasingly globalised world the earth’s resources and wealth are not shared sustainably or justly. Growing poverty and reduced access to the basic essentials of life is the daily reality for many people on the planet, but this does not have to be the future, we can all do something to reduce global inequality and the effects of climate change.

The sections on global footprints:

	Issues: Researches a number of important issues relating to international development and global justice. Key issues identified by young people in Bangladesh and the UK.		Action: Read about HEC's activities and projects – student voice, participation, school linking, supporting young people to explore and taking action on local and global issues.
	Play: Games, quizzes and fun activities to keep you informed. Calculate your Global Footprint and see how your actions have personal, local and global implications.		Teach: Offers teachers information & materials, including literacy and numeracy leaflets and other resources on themes relating to global learning, as well as CPD opportunities in London.
