'A footprint means pressing down and global means world, so 'global footprint' means pressing down on the world and we don't want to press too hard' (child's definition of a Global Footprint)

Webquests

Click here for webquests for secondary school students. These include topics of 'What is a global footprint?', 'Science detective', School council constitutions and local democracy.

These webquests for primary school students have been developed by HEC for years 5 and 6.

Using a video camera

In the sessions the students investigate global issues, such as homelessness and fairtrade, and this research is then used to create webpages, powerpoints, animations and video work. Find the webquests on our LGfL website.
