The literacy activities have been successfully tried and tested in the classroom. Some of the activities have been designed specifically for addressing the requirements of the National Literacy Strategy (NLS) for England and Wales. These activities relate to specific objectives for particular Year groups and terms. The activities generally address the fiction and non-fiction reading comprehension and writing composition elements of the strategy. Activities marked with # will lead you to a page detailing Year group and the NLS objectives being covered.
