Follow-up/Further ideas/Homework
  • This project could be extended to allow the children to give a presentation on their mini-topics and to invite discussion of the issues in depth. This could, in turn, lead to letter writing and work on evaluating texts and also to producing something which could be published and sent home to parents etc.
  • An ICT development could be to convert the leaflets into web pages and presenting the children's work on the internet.
  • The project could also be extended into other areas such as Science (links with healthy eating and drug awareness) and Art, Music and so on.
